Before filler
Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, aspiring, vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3’s, garlic, ginseng, ginko balboa, and anti-inflammatories 2 days prior to your appointment to avoid bruising. No dental work such as cavities for 2 weeks prior to your appointment
After filler
To reduce swelling, ice the treated area for 5-10 minutes 2-3 times in the first day, No exercise for 24 hours. To avoid filler migration, sleep on your back for the next 3 days, no manipulation to the treated area for 3 days. Take Tylenol as needed for discomfort. Apply arnica cream as needed to heal bruises.
